The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a train derailment occurred in Manor early Thursday morning.
DPS spokesperson Robbie Barrera told CBS Austin three rail cars fell off the tracks at the intersection of Hwy. 20 at Blue Bluff Road in Travis County at about 2:00a.m.
CapMetro owns the tracks but not the train, which is a regional train that runs on a short line to carry different materials locally and they say no hazardous material was on the freight train.
Manor ISD says the accident will not be affecting classes.
The intersection is shut down at the time. The closure is expected to last several hours.
No other details were immediately provided. This is a developing story.
